About Us
As our clients, we make sure the photography is geared towards your day, after all, that’s what you have paid us to do – create a lasting memory, and one to be cherished. As each and every wedding is different, we use our 16 years experience to ensure that we interpret and action your needs and your plans for, one of the most important days of your life. Even with over 500 weddings under our belt, we are still excited and passionate about every wedding day, as if it were our own.
Our Wedding Collections. We offer over six collections, some that include albums and cover every style of wedding ceremony, while catering for all tastes and budgets. We also appreciate that almost everyone has a personal computer and wants instant access to their wedding images. That’s why we have two digital collections. We can also create a ‘collection’ just for you – just ask. You may not want an album, you might not even have any guests, so let us know your needs.
The photography can be traditional, it can be candid or a mixture. No matter the style, we aim to create that images that you will love, just as you planned. Additionally, every wedding collection includes a ‘password protected’ Online Image Gallery, just perfect for all your families and friends to see your day. And anyone wanting to order reprints is just a click away from the online shop.
Once you have a wedding date, it is best to contact the studio and discuss your day; either by telephone or via the Contact Form on this site. Even if you don’t have a date you are welcome to chat about your plans and we can offer advice … NO hard selling or empy promises!
The studio is home-based and therefore in the grounds of our home. We offer to see clients at suitable times; evenings and Saturdays, as well as, normal office hours. Call 0131 467 6771/07813806067 to arrange an appointment.

SOME ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
Q. Do you come to the house/hotel before the wedding?
If the ‘collection’ you have paid for includes this, then we do. However, if you are having a one location wedding and there is no travelling, then we will include this in the photography.
Q. Can we meet in evening?
Not everyone can work flexi-hours, so that is why we offer to meet you at a suitable time, evenings included and even as late as 8pm. We can meet either at the proposed venue, your home or here at the studio.
Q. How much is the deposit and who is it made payable to?
We ask for a deposit of £100.00, either paid by cheque, PayPal or debit/credit card. Cheques should be made payable to ‘PhotoCom’.
Q. Are all albums the same?
No. Each album is made to order – interior and exterior options as well as colour choices and materials create endless possibilities. All we ask is that you take time to select your album as changes are not possible.
Q. How many ‘pictures’ do you take?
On average, over 600 images are taken at a ‘big wedding’. Nowadays, all weddings are ‘big’ as each wedding is very important to us, we don’t want to miss a thing. Your problem is to reduce 300 images to around 80, if that is the amount the album can hold. We can of course take fewer images – do tell and we will stop.
Q. When will our images be ready after the wedding?
All images captured to media are downloaded to the Mac and stored on two back-up devices. Once this important step is actioned the images are ready for uploading to the Gallery site around two days after your wedding. The printed Preview book takes around 5-7 working days (check package).
