Arrive and Exit with STYLE

Image - Happy Families at Dalhousie Castle.
In Mallorca, in the beautiful mountain town of Soller, while sitting eating our lunch in the shaded square, we were lucky to be there just before the wedding in the church began. What was different about the wedding could certainly be adopted here in Britain.
First of all, the Groom waited on the steps with all the guests. Then the Bride, with her Dad arrived (in a tiny Fiat 500 original) and he handed her over to the Groom. The Guests went in, and then both walked up the stairs to enter the church together.
Secondly, after the ceremony, all the guests poured out of the church with baskets of fresh petals and stood on the steps, either side. Once everyone was out and ready, the newly married couple came out and were greeted by the families, the friends and, I suspect others, with lots and lots of petals. Then the photographs of groups began. Lastly, everyone then made their way through the streets to the restaurant.
Very good to see, and maybe someone will take the idea onboard.
