Autumn Weddings

This is the time of the year when the colours can be awesome, so think about a setting for your wedding photography, one where those rich golden colours add warmth to the images. But remember about the low light too.Already it’s getting dark around 7pm and it’s not even October. By the middle of November, sunset is around 4pm. Something to think about when organising your wedding day. The earlier the ceremony can take place, the better. More so, if two locations are involved and travelling through the city; a real waste of precious photography time.

Also think about the temperature changes too. Photographs of ‘Porcelain Blue’ Brides and Maids are different but the girls won’t thank you for their colds. Think about – cloaks, travel rugs, hand-warmers or even hot drinks in a Thermos. One wedding a few years ago, the Flower Girls were in tears because they were so cold, wearing dresses that were transparent – very unseasonable.
