Can anyone be a Wedding Photographer

Well you would think so when you turn round and look at all the guests with their cameras. In fact, sometimes there are people jostling each other, for the spot next to me.At one wedding a guest asked if they could have a picture of the bridal couple. Sure! Except he handed me his camera, stood next to the couple and prompted me to take the photo. Some Brass Neck?
Any wedding at Edinburgh Castle involves real physical effort to keep your ’spot’ – you dare not leave it to fix the Bride’s dress – turn round and several ’snappers’ will be ready to shoot, just waiting for you to get out of the way.
One Irish wedding, which was celebrated in a Catholic Church, guests left their seats during the service, walked up to the alter and took their photos. This continued throughout the full Nuptial Mass (an hour) and only stopped because they had to leave when the couple walked down the aisle.
