| Q. Do you have an 'Online Gallery'?
Yes. At RomanImages.com - the site is now live.
Q. Can images be ordered by email? Of course. An order form is on the '"RomanImages' website; either order online or download the order form pdf, print it out and it by SnailMail. Email orders are paid for via PayPal. Q. What type of camera do you use? Nikon bodies with Nikon professional lenses. Images are captured to Lexar 4GB compact flash media. Q. How long does the album take? A typical album takes three to four weeks to make by the manufacturers. Each album is created to your specification and can have numerous differences from the norm. Once the album arrives from the supplier, it is usually turned around in 24 hours, ready for despatch to you. Q. Can you remove objects from images? Yes and No. 99% of the time it is chewing gum, cigarette ends and litter, but asking to remove a bridesmaid is too much! Yes, I have had to do that....don't ask. Q. Do you come to the house/hotel before the wedding? If the 'package' you have selected includes this, then I do. If however, you are having a one location wedding and there is no travelling, then we will include this in the photography. Q. Do you stay for the first dance? As above, except there is normally a charge for returning to a venue after the meal. We do need to eat too, otherwise our photography suffers. Q. Can we meet in evening? Not everyone can work flexi-hours, so that is why we offer to meet you at a suitable time, evenings included and even as late as 9pm. Q. How much is the deposit and who is it made Payable To? We ask for a deposit of £100.00, either paid by cheque or debit/credit card. Cheques should be made payable to 'PhotoCom'. Q. Are all albums the same? No. Each album is made to order - interior and exterior options, as well as, colour choices and materials; creating endless possibilities. All we ask is that you take time to select your album as changes are not possible. Q. How many 'pictures' do you take? On average, over 500 images are taken at a 'big wedding'. Nowadays, all weddings are 'big' as each wedding is very important to us. We don't want to miss a thing. We can of course take fewer images - as it depends on the number of family groups, the locations and of course, time. Just tell us to stop. Q. When will our images be ready after the wedding? All images captured to media are downloaded to the Mac and stored on two back-up devices. Once this important step is actioned the images are ready for uploading to the 'Roman Images" website and to DVD. However, in practice, your disks would be available three days after your wedding, along with a printed preview book. Q. What if the weather is bad? We always travel with our professional studio lights and background, which can be set-up in minutes either at the church, in the hotel or wherever.
